Founded in 1999, GoodCompany was Australia’s first Skilled Volunteer portal.
In 2007 GoodCompany merged with the Karma Currency Foundation.
Today, GoodCompany is an exciting hybrid social enterprise that embraces both a non-profit Public Ancillary Fund (PAF) with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and ‘for purpose’ structures to create greater social outcomes.
Today, GoodCompany works with IAG, Optus, Westpac, MYOB, Flight Centre, AGL, NAB, Spotlight, Technology One, ANZ, Pexa, CSL, Origin Energy, Netwealth, AECOM and many more Employers of Choice and empowers their staff to give their Time, Talent and Treasure to help support over 1500 charities.
Using technology to help connect those that can give with those in need, Good Company have enabled more than 60,000 donors to give over $10 million in cash and 180,000 volunteering hours.
Not content to stand still, this year GoodCompany has expanded in NZ and is always looking for more companies, charities and good people to get involved.
Ash is a dreamer and a doer. He dreams of a more generous and empathic world. And he does stuff about it. Since 2007 Ash and his team have been responsible for launching Australia’s first Charity Gift Voucher, Australia’s first Charity Gift Registry and after taking over GoodCompany, Australia’s first Unified Workplace Giving, Volunteering and Rewards Platform.
Having spent over a decade in corporate sales, marketing and management roles, Jo’s first encounter with GoodCompany was as a skilled volunteer. She loved it so much she decided to stay! Described as passionate and dedicated, with an eagle eyed focus on getting the details right, Jo loves providing solutions for corporate and charity partners alike. Jo volunteers, loves tennis and flexes her compassion muscles every day at work.
Working in recruitment left Hayley a little disillusioned with the corporate world. It happens to the best of us! Before joining GoodCompany in 2014, Hayley volunteered for many years and forged close connections in the not-for-profit sector. Hayley now gets to help charities every single day, and could not be happier! When she’s not in the office you can catch Hayley DJing in the best clubs around the world or snuggling any animal she encounters, especially her pooch Wilson.
We consider ourselves very lucky to have snared Hannan straight from his Masters in Information Technology. He’s also thankful that he does not have to go to any more interviews. Hannan is a programming wizard and speaks fluently in a range of technology platforms and code. He loves any high tech gadgets although is happy to put them aside when he competes in table tennis.
