GoodCompany History
GoodCompany began in 2000 and was the brainchild of Kate Kennedy, who had a desire to link like-minded young professional to skilled volunteering opportunities with social purpose agencies.
It quickly grew to 7,000 volunteers in four states of Australia.
It was led initially by dedicated volunteers and later, several tireless paid staff in Sydney and Melbourne.
In 2011, GoodCompany merged with Karma Currency Foundation, a donations platform founded by Ash Rosshandler. And the rest as they say... is history.
