Skilled Volunteering: Check in on a Charity with ANZ

Thank you so much to ANZ staff for taking the time out of their busy weeks, to utilize their volunteer leave with GoodCompany on Tuesday 19th September to 'Check In On a Charity'! It was a day filled with purpose, connection and fun.

We ran a skilled volunteer workshop to 'Check In On a Charity' and uplifted the non-profit community with volunteer and donation support through the GoodCompany platform. 😇

This wasn't just any volunteering event.

Staff directly liaised with charities, updated vital details, and ensured these important non-profit organisations are getting the most of the GoodCompany platform.

The NPS of this experience received an amazing 83.3%.

Together, we checked in on over 250 charities on the GoodCompany platform in under 5 hours! 👏

If one staff member at GoodCompany only has time to check in on 5 charities a day, this work would have taken 51 days or 10 weeks or 2 months.

Staff reported in a post-event feedback form that they gained patience, communication skills and empathy.

This type of work is invaluable and incredibly helpful in assisting GoodCompany to support thousands of charities making a difference.

We hope it's sparked (or re-ignited) a passion for volunteering and giving back!

Overall the volunteering experience received a 4.8/5 average rating.
