Thank you for choosing to start your day with a Chooseday mindset!
Did you know that one in eight men will experience depression at a point in their lives and one in five will have anxiety? Wherever you're from and whatever your background, you may have experienced, experiencing or know someone with these kinds of challenges. For men especially, it's more difficult because we're expected to be stoic - not show our tears or talk about our problems in public. It may sound innocuous, but if mental health is not addressed, it can lead to suicide, sicknesses, and higher mortaility. When we choose to be a "mo" this Movember (November), we're supporting a global charity that supports men's health where funds are raised to deliver breakghtough research and programs to help men live happier, healthier and longer lives. Be a mo by growing a moustache (easier, if you're a guy!), move for Movember, host a mo-ment (event) or mo your own way (choose to host a big challenge) - however you choose to be a mo, you'll be helping to raise funds to support men's health.
