The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence has a new name: Bullying No Way: National Week of Action. This year, from 12 to 16 August 2024, we unite to say NO to bullying. 💜
According to BullyZero (2024):
1 in 4 young people and up to 1 in 9 employees experience bullying
1 in 5 school students reported experiencing online bullying in any one year
Up to 100,000 school children stay home each day because they feel unsafe
Victims of bullying report more sever anxiety symptoms than others
Bullying impacts countless individuals, particularly young people, affecting their mental health, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Bullying No Way Week is Australia’s key initiative to prevent bullying and violence.
This week, schools, workplaces and communities across the country will come together to find solutions and create safer environments for everyone.
The flexibility of this week allows supporters to plan activities that fit their schedule—whether that’s spreading awareness throughout the week or focusing on impactful events on specific days.
