Chooseday 17th June 🌍 Choose to Stand with Refugees this World Refugee Day

Good Morning,


Right now, more people have been forced to flee their homes than ever before in human history.


According to the UNHCR’s Global Trends Report 2024, more than 120 million people around the world are forcibly displaced—driven from their homes by conflict, persecution, and the impacts of climate change. That’s 1 in every 69 people globally.


This isn’t just a number. It’s millions of individual stories. Families who’ve lost everything. Young people trying to rebuild futures. Children navigating new countries, cultures, and classrooms.


And yet, in the face of adversity, the strength and resilience of refugee communities continues to inspire.


🌍 So this World Refugee Day (20 June)—and as part of Workplace Giving Month—we invite you to take meaningful action. Through workplace giving, you can support the people and organisations doing the hard, hopeful work of welcoming, supporting, and empowering refugees here in Australia.
