Good Morning,
NAIDOC Week (6–13 July 2025) is a time to celebrate and recognise the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year's theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy”, marks a significant milestone—50 years of honoring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience. It celebrates not only the achievements of the past but also the bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of First Nations young leaders, communities and ancestors. 💛
The theme invites all Australians to reflect on the journey of NAIDOC Week, which began as a movement for recognition and rights, sparked by Indigenous communities who envisioned a future built on justice and equality.
Over the decades, it has evolved into a powerful national celebration, a testament to the enduring strength of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
As we commemorate this 50-year legacy, we also look forward, honouring the next generation who will carry the torch, shaping the future with courage, insight, and deep respect for our roots.

This ChooseDay, we invite you to take meaningful action:
🖤 Choose to learn: Deepen your understanding of truth-telling and the legacy of Country by exploring NAIDOC educational resources
💛 Choose to listen: Seek out First Nations voices in books, podcasts, art, and film.❤️ Choose to stand in solidarity: Support Indigenous-led initiatives creating real, lasting change.

Founded by Yolŋu leaders in Northeast Arnhem Land, the Yothu Yindi Foundation is a powerful force for cultural preservation, education, and leadership. It hosts the world-renowned Garma Festival – a space for cross-cultural exchange, truth-telling, and policy dialogue rooted in Yolŋu culture. Beyond Garma, the foundation works year-round to empower Yolŋu people through education, economic opportunities, and advocacy grounded in self-determination and Indigenous knowledge systems.
Children’s Ground is transforming the future for First Nations children by putting culture at the centre of learning, development, and wellbeing. Designed and led by Indigenous communities, their 25-year approach supports children from birth to adulthood, integrating education, health, employment and cultural strength. Their model replaces cycles of disadvantage with cycles of opportunity—ensuring every child grows up proud, connected, and equipped to thrive on their terms.

When you support these organisations, you're choosing to invest in leadership, healing, and a future grounded in dignity, culture, and justice.
By supporting Indigenous-led organisations, we each play a part in keeping the fire burning — in our workplaces, our communities, and across this land. A fire that carries generations of wisdom. A fire that speaks of survival, pride, and power. A fire that will light the way.
Together, we can help keep the fire burning bright — now and for generations to come. ☀️
Burning bright,
GoodCompany
